- The client goes through consultation with one of our qualified trainers.
- The client is oriented about lifestyle changes and given a personalized fitness program based on the initial consultation.
- Client is coached how to do the exercises safely and effectively.
- Client is given a stretching session to release muscle tension.
- Client may join any group exercise.
- Client may do his/ her post-workout activities using the center’s facilities for free (sauna, shower).
- Client is coached for 1 or 2 more workout sessions to ensure mastery of the exercise movements. Each workout session comes with a free stretching session.
- Client may ask the trainer anytime for questions regarding health, fitness, food, lifestyle changes, or any other concerns.
- After 6-8 weeks the client may approach his/ her trainer for evaluation.

WHP is good not just for the body. It’s good for the business.
- As mentioned earlier, to make a WHP effective, it should contain these three elements: individual counseling, coaching and self-management training. A daily Zumba class offers none of these.
- Zumba or any “cardio” activity (aerobic activity) offers very little benefit to the body. People need anaerobic activities and resistance training.
AEROBIC VS. ANAEROBICHave you ever wondered why people who do a lot of “cardio” like zumba or jogging still have a hard time controlling their weight?
Aerobic activities or “cardio” are low-intensity activities that take several minutes. Examples are jogging and zumba. Anaerobic activities are high intensity and take a few minutes or seconds. An example is sprinting. Aerobic activities lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, normalize blood pressure, lower body fat and increase endurance. But it also causes:
- Severe injuries in the hip, knee and lower back
- It lowers metabolism, making it hard to control weight in the long run
- It makes you lose body shape (no curves)
- Better body shape
- Increased metabolism for long-term weight control
- Stronger muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons
RESISTANCE TRAININGResistance training is the process of stressing the body (usually with bodyweight, weights, resistance bands) to increase muscle strength and endurance. Examples are:
- Push ups
- Pull ups
- Lifting weights
- To climb stairs easier
- To carry things easier
- To walk longer
- Avoid accidents like slipping or falling
- It makes you stronger
- Reverses the aging process
- Builds bone and prevents osteoporosis (even in the elderly)
- Increases metabolism for long-term weight control
These benefits do not apply to “cardio”, and that is why doing only “cardio” like zumba or jogging is not effective to keeping healthy in the long run.
